Soaring from a manicured grass field, the surrounding farm fields and rural terrain produces fantastic thermal activity! COVID-19 precautions, social distancing and mask use will be observed. Please plan on bringing your own food and beverages and we will advise closer to the start date if the usual on-site grill lunch will be available. The Connecticut coast has lots to offer including great seafood, the historic town of Mystic and Mystic Seaport, Rhode Island ocean beaches and the 24/7 action at Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casino resorts. WELCOME BEGINNERS and ELECTRIC FLYERS: If you've ever had an interest in aero tow, please join us for some hands-on learning. If you own a scale sailplane or are interested in getting started, we'll help you get some stick time. All forms of electric-powered sailplanes are welcome to fly. No winch or high start flying is permitted.
